Municipal Strategist for J.P. Morgan Featured at Hart Capital Event Celebrating Women and Wealth

We were delighted by the positive feedback we received from our clients and their friends who attended our March 2011 client event at Anthony’s Restaurant. The purpose of this event was to share the top five things women should know about investing and to provide an open forum, in a relaxed setting, where attendees could ask experts about the investment- related questions on their minds.

Priscilla Hancock, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Municipal Strategist for J.P. Morgan New York, and Hart Capital’s own Karen Oeser, Vice President Fixed Income, led the discussion. During their opening remarks, the women emphasized the importance of knowing your cash flow, risk tolerance, asset mix and liquidity levels. We were thrilled to see how quickly the attendees dove into the topic and wanted to discuss the financial issues that directly impact them.

The tip that caught the most attention was to assemble a book that includes all of your important financial information such as account numbers, insurance policies, powersof- attorneys, trusts, wills, and passwords. While it sounds very basic, very few people have one and it is nearly impossible to assemble in the middle of a life-changing event.
